Roman Architecture
This is one of the many examples of Roman architecture. Romans were skilled builders, and many of there theaters, temples, bridges and roads have survived to this day. The people who lived in the roman empire all had there own building styles. The Romans, however, were greatly influenced by the styles of Greek architecture, though they adapted and further developed different styles. For example, the Romans based the design of their temples on those of the Greeks, with a sloping roof over a triangular pyramid that was supported by decorative columns being Doric; the most plain column, Ionic; the column with scrolls at the top, and finally Corinthian; the fanciest column of the three I've explained.
